Writing services

You’re looking for a SaaS freelance writer who can speak directly to members of your target audience, answer their questions, and build trust through compelling blog posts. This content needs to:

  • Generate brand awareness
  • Position your organization as an industry expert
  • Be SEO-friendly

My content writing services accomplish just that. As a professional writer, I provide article and blog writing services to B2B and B2G organizations looking for well-researched, engaging blog content that people actually want to read.

B2B blog writing services

Anyone can write a boring article that’s stuffed to the brim with keywords, throwing out references to your product left and right.

But a blog post like that isn’t going to meet your content marketing goals. As a B2B organization, you need content that adds genuine value to your reader. You want to build trust not only in your product but also in your expertise as an industry leader.

I write in a friendly, conversational writing style that speaks directly to the needs of your readers. Above all else, I actively consider how my content will genuinely help your target audience. To do so, I consider things like:

  • What problems are your readers trying to solve?
  • What perspectives are missing from the blog posts currently ranking for this topic?
  • What statistics and other research should be included to support a point?
  • How can I write about this topic in the most engaging way possible?

Then, I get your readers the information they’re looking for — without any fluff. When you choose my writing services, you can rest assured that you’ll receive content that’s well-researched, informative, engaging, and targeted to your unique audience.

B2G SaaS blog writing services

If you’re a B2G organization, I understand your audience… because I used to be a member of it! Having completed a Master of Public Administration and worked in local government myself, I’m well-acquainted with the fact that public sector staff are…

  1. Short on time; and
  2. Tight on resources

As a B2G SaaS organization, you provide tools that alleviate some of these challenges. This might look like selling software that can help a local government manage its:

  • Payroll processes
  • Human resources
  • Budget development cycle
  • Financial resources
  • Policies and procedures
  • Agenda cycles
  • Community engagement practices

Or something else entirely. Regardless of the specific products you sell, as a government technology  organization, you make it easier for public sector employees to focus on what matters the most: serving their community.

But you can’t accomplish this if public administrators don’t know about your services.

Fortunately, my SEO writing services can help you organically expand your reach and visibility. While speaking directly to your audience, I write well-written blog posts that generate brand awareness for your organization and build your organization’s reputation as a business that really “gets” public sector challenges (and solutions!).

So, why my article writing services?

In addition to my subject matter expertise, I’m professional, reliable, friendly, and deadline-driven. As a B2G and B2B freelance writer, I want to make your life easier by getting you high-quality content when you expect it — and not a day later. When you hire me, you can count on me to:

  • Foster reliable, proactive, and open communication channels
  • Follow your briefs to a “T”
  • Write engaging content that meets the needs of your target audience

frequently asked questions

I work with B2B/B2G organizations and (occasionally) content marketing agencies that are looking to subcontract their work. I particularly enjoy working with B2G companies that provide SaaS to state and local governments.

I work with clients who have ongoing writing needs, as opposed to one-off projects. Ideally, these clients have an established content marketing strategy and know exactly what keywords they’re trying to target with each piece of content.

First, I want to learn more your needs! During an initial Zoom meeting or phone call, we can discuss your existing blog strategy and what you hope to accomplish through your blog. During this meeting, I can come to a better understanding of your target audience and writing needs and you can learn more about my writing process and background.

If you decide to move forward with my writing services, I’ll send over a straightforward freelance writing contract that outlines things like how many blog posts (on average) you’ll need per month, their length, and payment terms. I am also happy to review and sign, within reason, any existing contracts your organization uses with independent contractors.

Upon receipt of a signed contract, I request a 50% (one-time) deposit for the first month of work. Once that’s paid, I’ll get started writing!

My professional writing services are priced by the blog post according to the payment schedule below:

  • Blog posts under 1,200 words: $250 per post
  • Blog posts 1,200 words to 2,000 words: $350 per post
  • Blog posts 2,001 words to 2,500 words: $450 per post
  • More than 2,500 words: let’s chat

Any subsequent meetings after the initial consultation meeting are billed at an hourly rate of $60/hour. That said, I’m incredibly responsive through email and always happy to answer any questions there!

I invoice on the last business day of each month for all work completed that month. On each invoice, I list every blog post I completed so you know exactly what you’re paying for. I accept payment through Paypal or wire transfer/direct deposit. Of course, if you have any existing invoicing processes that your organization uses with contractors, I’m happy to work with those systems.

Yes. I require a 50% deposit for the first month of work. Upon completing the first month of blog posts, I invoice the remaining 50% on the last business day of that month. Thereafter, I invoice for all work completed that month on the last business day of the month.
